Vigo County Patriot Marker & Liberty Tree Dedication
The John Martin Chapter presented “Colors” for the Fort Harrison DAR Chapter in Terre Haute, IN on June 20, 2026.
The DAR Chapter installed a marker for Revolutionary War Patriots, and did a Liberty Tree Marking at the Vigo County Courthouse.
The chapter finished the event with a Musket Salute and “Taps” by Jeff Hills.
Participants include: State President William Behnke Sr, Chapter President Kent Salitros, Chapter VP Ben Porter, members, Norton Newcom III, Jerry Gaskin, Deitrich Rompf, Jeff Hills
MemberJoe Gilley and Ladies Auxiliary Joyce Behnke, Rachel Porter and Cathy Warner were also in attendance.
