John Martin Chapter held its March meeting at MCL Cafeteria in Terre, Haute, IN. MCL has been a strong supporter of the SAR by proving a meeting space for the chapter. We are sad they are closing their doors this weekend.

The chapter had a great turnout for the induction of three new members. Josh Marsh , John Burkett, and Dennis Watson.

The participants of the Knight Essay contest were present. Vincent Kelly, second place, and Toni Adeagbo, first place. Toni’s essay advanced to the state level where it also took first place. Chapter members enjoyed the reading of her essay, “From The Caribbean to The Constitution”.

Terre Haute South High School teacher, Matt Christjansen, received a certificate for his honorable mention in the American History Teacher Award.
