Indiana Society President, William Behnke, represented the state and with John Martin Chapter, along with compatriot Ben Porter, at the 243rd Anniversary event commemorating the Battle of Blue Licks on Saturday August 16 in Carlise, Kentucky.
The gentlemen were accompanied by Ladies’ Auxiliary President Joyce Behnke.
This national color guard event honored three patriots who died on August 19, 1782 with grave markings:
